Triune Partners is led by Sobantu Modise, who has 16 years of experience in the financial markets. He began his career in Stockbroking as an Equity Sales Trader managing institutional and private clients. He later moved on to the buy-side, taking on the role of Equity and Equity Derivatives Trader at Momentum Investments. His responsibilities included trading domestic and international markets for the firm and Securities Lending. He was a partner in an award-winning hedge fund, Genesis Fund Management, awarded the Best Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund for 2008 in South Africa. He also owned and operated a Wealth Management practice under JSE listed PSG Konsult, which he later sold. He has served as a director of Motema Resources, a private investment holding firm and director of private equity firm Katiso Capital. He has extensive transaction advisory experience spanning the renewable energy, mining, agriculture, healthcare, real estate and tech sectors. He is skilled at trading, valuation, transaction advisory, portfolio management, corporate finance, fund structuring and strategy.
